Alex Jesus The unorthodox and clever use of the saxophone makes this album stand out from its peers. It's something which I only heard once before in The Faceless' 2012 release Autotheism Movement. Where Owls Know My Name left me craving for more! Favorite track: Cancer / Moonspeak.

TheKaotek1 An absolutely stunning album mixing elements of stoner jazz, ambient soundscapes and of course death metal. If that sounds like it shouldn't work, be prepared to be very pleasantly surprised. Favorite track: A Home.

pieman280 Just incredible! The brutality mixes with contrasts of more melodic breaks, the saxophone is an unpredictable element of magic laced in various songs, the lyrics are surprisingly clear and well written, and overall I just find myself sitting down with this album and just enjoying it at the end of the day as if it were a good sipping whiskey for the ears. This album is incredible, and I especially can't stop obsessing over how brilliant The Silent Life is. Favorite track: The Silent Life.
